Philadelphia Eagles at Seattle Seahawks – 8:20 PM

Week 13′s Thursday night game features a matchup of 2010 NFC playoff teams who are both having disappointing 2011 seasons. Despite numerous off-season acquisitions, Philadelphia (4-7) is only mathematically alive in the NFC East. The Eagles defense, which has given up leads often in the fourth quarter this season, will face a Seattle offense that ranks 30th in average yards per game. The Seahawks (4-7) only true offensive weapon is Marshawn Lynch, whom the Eagles must prepare for diligently.

Philadelphia may still be without Michael Vick at quarterback, as he lets his broken ribs heal. Vince Young threw for 400 yards in place of Vick on Sunday in a loss to the Patriots, but he still has a passer rating of just 69.6. The Eagles need running back LeSean McCoy to be more involved in the offense. Receiver DeSean Jackson’s mind may be on his contract — he dropped two potential touchdowns against New England. The Seahawks counter the Philadelphia firepower with a defense that gave up 314 yards passing to Washington’s Rex Grossman in its last game.
