The Vikings lost at home to Green Bay 33-27 Sunday afternoon and fall to 1-6 on the season.  Minnesota led 17-13 at halftime but was outscored 20-0 in the 3rd quarter.  Minnesota staged a comeback in the 4th quarter with 10 straight points.  Rookie Christian Ponder made his first NFL start and was 13-32 passing for 219 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.  He also ran for 31 yards.  Adrian Peterson ran for 175 yards on 24 carries with 1 touchdown and Michael Jenkins led the Vikings with 3 catches for 111 yards and 1 touchdown.

Aaron Rodgers led the Packers throwing for 335 yards and 3 touchdowns on 24-30 passing.  Bernard Berrian was inactive for the Vikings despite not being injured and Minnesota played without cornerback Chris Cook, who was jailed Saturday after being arrested for alleged domestic assault.  Minnesota will play at Carolina at noon Sunday, pregame on WJON at 11am.  Hear more about the Vikings today at 12:35 during the Leslie Frazier press conference.
