Luke Bryan and Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry are teaming up to host the summer’s hottest television music event recapping the CMA Music Festival. ‘Country’s Night to Rock,’ will air on ABC in September.
After snagging an award for Male Video of the Year, Luke Bryan took the stage at the 2012 CMT Music Awards to present the award to Miranda Lambert for Female Video of the Year. It was surely a tight race as Sara Evans (‘My Heart Can’t Tell You No’), Lambert (‘Over You’), Martina McBride (‘I’m Gonna Love You Through It’), Kellie Pickler (‘Tough’), Taylor Swift (‘Ours’), and Carrie Underwood (‘Good Girl’) were in the running for the coveted gold buckle.
Luke Bryan nabbed the buckle for Male Video of the Year at the 2012 CMT Music Awards for his cinematic clip for ‘I Don’t Want This Night to End.’ The ever-excitable singer bounded up on the stage to accept his honor as though he just downed a case of Red Bull.
