I'm all for children participating in outdoor activities but what I witnessed these young children doing really scared me.

It's going to take a while for the roads to truly clear up from last week's storm and of course this is heaven for folks who love to snowmobile.  On Saturday afternoon I had to run some errands and I was slowly making my way up to a slippery bridge when I saw this snowmobile.  The driver wasn't paying any attention to his surroundings so I honked my horn at him.

As I got a little closer I saw this young boy and girl -- they couldn't have been more than about 8 and 5, maybe -- on the snowmobile.  I wondered where there parents were, were they even old enough to be on a snowmobile alone and why weren't they paying attention. It freaked me out because there are drivers out there who wouldn't have seen them in time and the consequences would have been catastrophic.
