Meet Sophie, a 2 ½ year old German Shepherd.  She is a very smart dog who knows several words such as sit, stay, lay down, speak, and wait. Sophie’s also housetrained and will go to the door when she needs to go outside.

Sophie was very good about staying in the yard in her previous home and enjoyed outdoor activities like playing fetch or swimming. However in a new setting she would certainly have to learn new boundaries before being trusted.

Sophie is pretty independent and usually bonds very close to just one person. She will need a home without small children because she is scared of them and as we all know, a frightened dog may bite.

If small children are not a big part of your life, please consider bringing Sophie into yours.

Freckle the frisky feline is waiting for you to take him home today. It’s as clear as the dot on his face how he got his name.

Freckle is a neutered male and is 2 months old. He was brought to Tri-County Humane Society with his siblings, and is the only one who hasn’t been adopted yet.

Freckle is full of energy and loves to play with mice; he dashes across the room when you throw one. You might even get him to retrieve them for you with a little coaxing.

If Freckle had a sign it would say “Will play for love”.
