The Vikings had a few players miss practice Tuesday in preparation for their game Thursday night at home against Tampa Bay.  Tight end John Carlson (concussion) and running back Adrian Peterson (ankle) missed practice.  Carlson isn't expected to play Thursday night while Peterson sat for precautionary reasons.

The following players were limited in practice for the Vikings; defensive end Jared Allen, tackle Matt Kalil, safety Mistral Raymond, safety Harrison Smith and cornerback Antoine Winfield.  The following players were full participants in practice for the Vikings; running back Matt Asiata, safety Robert Blanton, defensive tackle Fred Evans, linebacker Marvin Mitchell, quarterback Christian Ponder, and receiver Jerome Simpson.

The Vikings host Tampa Bay at 7:20 Thursday night, pregame on WJON at 6:00.  The Vikings are 5-2 while Tampa Bay is 2-4.  Minnesota is a 7-point favorite.
