Photographs And Family Heirlooms Are The Only Things I’d Try To Save If My House Was On Fire

I was reading a story about this guy who ran back in to his burning house to save his Xbox and I started thinking about the important things in my house.  I can only think of a few things that I’d want to save and an Xbox is not one of them.

I can’t imagine running back in to a burning building to save something as trivial as an Xbox.  If it were me, I’d want to save the sorts of things that cannot be replaced.  Old photographs, family heirlooms, my favorite stuffed dog from when I was a kid.

At the end of the day another Xbox can be purchased and in all reality, once you get out of a burning building you probably shouldn’t head back in unless it’s to try to help another living creature get out.

Aside from family and pets, what would you go back in to your burning house to save?
