Looks like you can put your #84 jersey away for good, ESPN reports that after 13 seasons in the NFL, wide receiver Randy Moss will retire.

34 year old Randy Moss was traded twice last season. He started with the New England Patriots, then came to the Minnesota Vikings, and ended his season with the Tennessee Titans. Moss became a free agent following last season.

Moss got his start in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, drafted 21st overall out of Marshall University in 1998.  Moss received the title of Offensive Rookie of the Year in '98, and made it to seven Pro Bowls throughout his career.

#84 will forever hold a place in my football-loving heart!
