The Twins fell in Tampa by a 7-4 final score at Tropicana Field Monday night. The Rays broke a 3-3 tie with a three run seventh inning.

Twins outfielder Aaron Hicks was 4-4 to raise his average to .205 on the season, and shortstop Pedro Florimon was 2-4.

Twins starter Sam Deduno took the loss after allowing five runs on ten hits in a little over six innings of work. The righty is now 4-4 on the season.

The Twins and Tampa will play again Tuesday at 6:05.
