Wednesday night (Dec. 11), 'Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Tale' will air, and with it will come a special performance from Clarkson, Reba McEntire and Trisha Yearwood together, performing 'Silent Night.' You can preview a peek of their rendition -- and it's bound to ramp up your excitement!

In the clip, the 'American Idol' winner and her two vocal partners are dressed in their finest floor-length holiday gowns for their singing masterpiece of 'Silent Night.' Clarkson is appropriately "wrapped in red," while Yearwood looks slim and sleek in a flattering black dress and McEntire is festive in an eggplant ensemble. With a tree-lit background behind them, it looks a whole lot like Christmas on the stage.

Yearwood begins the song with Clarkson blending in with effortless harmony, and about halfway through, her mother-in-law enters the stage, prompting lots of cheers from the crowd. She takes the lead, with the three singers eventually coming together in unison for the last verse.

It's a truly gorgeous ensemble that was obviously born of lots of hard work and practice, the star being the trio's killer vocals. With 'Kelly Clarkson's Cautionary Christmas Tale,' it will certainly not be a silent night come 10PM ET on NBC. There will be lots of outfit changes, even more singing, a full band and a few special guests -- including Blake Shelton dressed as an elf!
