Rox Stop Stingers In Extra Innings Thursday

The Rox beat the Willmar Stingers 8-5 in extra innings Thursday at Bill Taunton Stadium. St. Cloud is now 6-4 on the season and trail Eau Claire by 1.5 games in the North Division.

Harrison Wenson scored the eventual winning run in the top of the tenth inning on a passed ball before Kade Scivicque knocked in a pair of insurance runs with a single.

Eric Loxtercamp was 2-6 with three runs scored and Clay Ardeeser went 3-6 with four runs batted in to highlight the offense.

The Rox are at Willmar again Friday night. Reese Gregory will get the start for St. Cloud with first pitch slated for 7:10.
