Sammy Kershaw is in the Country Classic Spotlight Sunday morning at 11.

A brief biography, first.

Sammy Kershaw born February 24, 1958 in Louisana.  A third cousin of Cajun fiddler Doug Kershaw.

Sammy had twenty-five singles to enter the Top 40 chart.

Kershaw married Lorrie Morgan the daughter of George Morgan, in 2001, and divorced in 2007.

Sammy also ran for political office twice in Louisiana.
