Scotty McCreery And Lauren Alaina Will Release Albums In October

Both Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina have officially announced their plans for their debut albums.

American Idol winner Scotty McCreery will release his debut album on October 4th. The title is 'Clear as Day', and yes, his first single 'I Love You This Big' will be one of the tracks.

The 17 year old has been keeping very busy since being given the title of 'American Idol'. Not only is he out on the American Idols Live tour with the top 11 from last season, but he has also been in the studio recording when he has a break on the tour.

Lauren Alaina was the runner-up to Scotty, and she will be putting her debut album on the shelves October 11th. Her first single 'Like My Mother Does' will be one of the tracks on the album titled 'Wildflower'. There will be a good mix of music on this album, you can expect both upbeat dance tunes and slower ballads as well.

I'm really excited for both albums! I was a fan of the two country artists from the beginning of American Idol and I am happy to see them be successful.
