SCSU Men’s Upset #22 Augustana; SCSU Women Lose

The St. Cloud State men’s basketball team upset #22 Augustana 86-61 at home Monday night after the SCSU women lost 77-60 to Augustana at Halenbeck Hall.  Shaun Jensen led the SCSU women with 18 points and 7 assists and Connor Niehaus added 16 points.  The Huskies shot 59 percent from the field while Augustana shot 40 percent.

The SCSU women lost 77-60 to Augustana and were led by Jessica Benson with 19 points.  SCSU shot 32 percent while Augustana shot 50 percent.

The St. Cloud State are 9-1 overall and 5-1 in the NSIC while the SCSU women are 5-5 overall and 2-4 in the NSIC.  SCSU basketball will host Wayne State tonight.  The women’s game is at 6pm with the men’s game to tip-off at 8pm.
