St. Cloud State University senior quarterback Phil Klaphake was named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week after a standout performance against Minnesota State-Moorhead last weekend.

Klaphake, a Princeton native, threw for a school record 512 yards and equaled his own school record for touchdowns in a game with five. Klaphake has over 10,000 yards passing in his career with the Huskies.

SCSU opens the NCAA playoffs with a game at Henderson State (AR) Saturday afternoon at noon.
