Should House Sitter Repay $70 In Movie Pay-Per-View Fees?

Manae Media/ThinkStock

We got an email from ‘Mark’ this morning asking if we thought he was responsible for $70 in movie rental fees he ran up while house sitting. His friend went to Hawaii for 10 days, and ‘Mark’ ordered $70 worth of movies. Now his friend wants to be be reimbursed. Mark thinks it’s fair trade for house sitting. What do you think?

It was unanimous between Cindy, Jim and I; ‘Mark’ owes the money. Too presumptuous to just assume you could have the run of the place, including ordering movies, unless it had been discussed in advance.

98 Nation agreed, with every caller saying that ‘Mark’ needed to pay up. Sorry Mark, $70 to your buddy. Let us know what you think by commenting below.
