Back in March, St. Michael resident Steve McKee was diagnosed with a form of cancer called Chondrosarcoma.  As a result, he has a mass in his chest wall tissue that is stuck between his lung, heart, spine and aorta valve.  He has had part of the mass removed surgically and undergone radiation treatments.

The St. Michael community has put together a wrestling clinic to help the family pay for medical costs.  The McKee family has been extremely active in the Minnesota wrestling community.  They have put together camps and clubs and traveled with their sons to tournaments.  Strength for Steve will take place on Saturday from 11am to 2pm at the St. Michael Middle School West.  There is a $100 fee and the clinic will feature several well known wrestlers including Olympic Silver Medalist Brandon Paulson.

After the wrestling clinic there will be a Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction benefit at 3pm at the Legion in St. Michael.  There will be live music after the benefit as well.
