Lynn Rene Anderson, also known as the Great Lady of Country Music, was born September 26, 1947 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Lynn Anderson became one of country music's brightest stars in the 60's and 70's.  Over the course of sixteen years she amassed a string of 18 Top 10 country hits including, You're My Man, How Can I Unlove You, Keep Me In Mind, and most notably the smash crossover hit Rose Garden.

I Never Promised You A Rose Garden became her signature song.  Her crossover appeal and regular exposure on national television helped her become one of the most popular and successful country singers of the 1970's.

Lynn continues to record and remains a popular concert attraction, headlining major casino show rooms and theaters.  She recently performed at the Paramount Theater  in downtown St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Some of country music's biggest stars, including Lynn Anderson, were on hand at a surprise event at the Grand Ole Opry House to honor country radio's Bob Kingsley for his forty year career as host of American Country CountdownBob Kingsley's Country Top 40 airs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays on 98 Country following the Country Classic Show.

Outside of country music, Lynn has also maintained an equestrian horse racing career which began in the 1960's.  She has won 16 National , 8 World and several celebrity championships.
