Join me Sunday June 8th for the Sunday Morning Country Classic Spotlight as we feature Tanya Tucker.  We kick the Classic Show off at 9 a.m.

Since her 1972 smash hit Delta Dawn made her star at age thirteen, Tanya has emerged as one of the most successful and popular country singers of all time.  Dozens of hit songs and popular albums have followed with a career lasting decades.

She has also written an autobiography, founded her own record label and starred in a reality TV series.  The show was called Tuckerville, which aired on The Learning Channel from 2005-2006, with 31 episodes and featured the Tanya with her children.

A memorable night for me was at Whitney Park here St. Cloud.  It was a beautiful June night and Tanya wowed the crowd Whitney Park as part of Granite City Days.  Hundreds of spectators gathered round to hear Tucker, her daughter and her band perform.  There's no other way to describe it other than to say it was spectacular.

Tanya has never been married.  She has had relationships, with a string of fellow entertainers including country singer, Merle Haggard, actor Don Johnson and the late pop singer Andy Gibb.  From 1980 to 1981 she had a relationship with Glen Campbell.

This coming Sunday hear the hits of Tanya Tucker including San Antonio Stroll, Here's Some Love, Lizzy and the Rainman, Can I See You Tonigh? and many more.
