Smokie is a wonderful dog looking for a family to take good care of him.

Smokie is an 8 year old Black Lab mix who came to the shelter with his brother, Bandit. He's one of the most polite, well mannered dogs I've ever met.  He knows sit, stay, wait and several other commands.

He loves belly rubs and would prefer you just pay attention to him instead of playing. Smokie is really smart too -- breakfast caught his eye this morning and he refused to play with me until he was fed.
