The Brainerd Jaycees are giving you another chance to win some prizes while ice fishing this weekend.

The organizers of the world's largest ice fishing contest are launching a new, separate virtual tournament in 2022.

The annual Brainerd Jaycees Ice Fishing Extravaganza has been postponed due to safety concerns. The charitable ice fishing contest was scheduled for Saturday, January 23rd on Gull Lake but inconsistent ice thickness caused by the relatively warm winter has forced it to be postponed until Saturday, February 6th.
