Dear Dad, instead of a tie or a '#1 Dad' t-shirt I decided to create a list of Top-10 Country Songs for Father's Day. Good news, I got you some beer and Slim Jims too.
If you're a dad, chances are you're getting some ties, socks and, if you're lucky, a sweet "No. 1 Dad" mug this Sunday. But what do you REALLY want? According to dads on the Internet, the wish list is pretty simple.
According to dads on Reddit, here's what they really want this Father's Day:
Don't be a 'Father's Day Skimper' -- defined (by me) as of one the 77% of Americans who spend more, and pay more attention to moms than dads on their day. Besides, dad is easy to please. Quality time with the family (dinner, grilling, outing) is what he wants most, but get him something nice anyway.
Sometimes it's hard to find just the right gift for dad. You can only buy so many ties and tools before the 'cool' factor wears off. However, if you make dad a gift it will be something he will cherish forever. These are gifts that need a little adult supervision and assistance, but are based on the kids photos or artwork...
We're not here to tell you how to run your life. We're mostly just here to provide you with cute pictures of kittens and GIFs you might like. But, if we could make a suggestion, don't get your dad any of these things for Father's Day.
