Each year Sauk Rapids-Rice High, Foley High and Milaca High allow their students to drive their tractors to school and those tractor days are right around the corner.
Pitch, Hit & Run is the Official Skills Competition of Major League Baseball. Boys and girls, ages 7 to 14 are given the opportunity to showcase, free of charge, their pitching, hitting and running abilities.
It has been a long week, I've been working harder than normal to get ahead so I can actually go out of town and enjoy a few days at the beach. Needless to say, I needed something to brighten my day and I got that today from a group of sixth graders!
Last week I heard about an event coming up this weekend called Human Bowling. Immediately my mind thought of the time I got my thumb stuck in the bowling ball and sent myself flying down the bowling alley. It turns out, that's not exactly what human bowling is.
It was a rainy and cool day for a parade but that didn't stop the great people of Foley from showing up to enjoy the last day of Foley Fun Days! The attendance wasn't as large as it has been in past years, but everyone that "weathered" the weather had a blast! Thanks for another fun time Foley!
