ABC recently announced another handful of country music stars that have agreed to perform at the 45th annual Country Music Awards on November 9th. Start getting excited because this is going to be a star-studded show!
What does Miranda carry in her purse so she can always mix drinks? Also, find out what a "Twiddow" is.
If you want to make a living as a songwriter, Nashville is unquestionably the best place to be — even after a decade of dwindling record sales, it’s still home to a thriving publishing industry, as well as some of the most seasoned tunesmiths in the business.
But that doesn’t mean a good song is necessarily easy to find. In fact, Miranda Lambert found the experience so frustrating that she ended up learning how to play guitar just so she could write her own material.
Miranda Lambert‘s upcoming release, ‘Four the Record,’ already has one hit single in ‘Baggage Claim’ and the album won’t even reach stores until November.
But that doesn’t mean she can’t already be thinking about the set’s second single — or share a potential contender with fans at a recent show.
He's talented, so good-looking AND he's a romantic.....sigh. Blake Shelton has just released the video for "God Gave Me You" but it almost didn't turn out the way he wanted it to.
You’ll still need to wait almost two months to hear Miranda Lambert‘s new album in its entirety, but if you’re just dying for an early glimpse of ‘Four the Record,’ now you can have it.
Through an exclusive premiere at Taste of Country, Lambert has revealed the ‘Four the Record’ cover, and it offers all the country glamour — and fire — her fans have come to expect.
The last time Kelly Clarkson cut a duet with a country star, the result was her number one hit with Jason Aldean, ‘Don’t You Wanna Stay,’ so it’s only natural that, during a recent Web chat, she was asked if she’d consider teaming up with any other artists.
As it turns out, Clarkson had already considered the question — and she’d love to return to Nashville for a duet with Miranda Lambert.
Turns out those Pistol Annies are pretty good shots — after setting their sights on chart domination, they delivered with one of the year’s most impressive debuts.
The trio’s first album, ‘Hell on Heels,’ emerged on top of Billboard’s Country Album charts in its first week, moving enough units to also earn a number five debut on the overall Top 200.
We, as fans, have asked Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert to team up many times and do a full album of music together and they have finally come together to work on an album!
They might be ‘Hell on Heels,’ but the Pistol Annies didn’t have any problem walking all the way up to the top of the iTunes album sales chart this week– and with real speed, after only 36 hours on sale.
Of course, it helps that iTunes is the only retailer that officially has the album at this point, but it’s still a pretty impressive sign of the demand for the trio’s debut that it’s currently outselling hit records like Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘Watch the Throne.’
We still have a week to wait for the Pistol Annies‘ debut, but the hot new country trio is taking the edge off the wait by offering advance streams of five songs from the album.
The first track, ‘Bad Example,’ is up now, exclusively at Entertainment Weekly.
