Week Three of the 2011 NFL schedule kicks off the first weekend of fall. Two games feature undefeated teams pitted against each other, while several, key intra-divisional rivalries meet for the first time this season. Meanwhile, winless teams are scrambling to save their 2011 season before it’s too late.
Several last-minute, game-winning scores highlighted the week two NFL action as Washington, Buffalo, Detroit and Houston unexpectedly joined Green Bay, New England and the N.Y. Jets as the NFL’s remaining undefeated teams
After players used week one of the 2011 NFL season to reward the football faithful with NFL records for passing yards, special-team return touchdowns and sacks, week two brings several early season games that could be future playoff, or, perhaps, conference championship previews. With temperatures turning fall-like in the east, fans will likely be treated to great football in near-perfect football weather.

The NFL’s 9/11 tribute last night during the Jets-Cowboys Sunday night game included Taps and the national anthem sung by Lady Antebellum. Afterwards they tweeted, "Still shaking after singing the anthem. Thank you NFL and NYC for letting us show our deep appreciation for this amazing country."

Hill, returning for her fifth year with the show, has recorded a new version of the theme song, ‘Waiting All Day for Sunday Night,’ which sets football-themed lyrics to Joan Jett’s ‘I Hate Myself for Loving You.’
