There are some fun and exciting things to do around Central Minnesota this weekend for you and your family. You can check out the Rock for Alzheimer's concert in St. Joseph, visit the Millstream Arts Fair, catch a play at Pioneer Place, drink a beer at Beaver Island Brewing's Oktoberfest or enjoy a hockey game by watching the Granite City Lumberjacks. The amount of talent I have seen in Central Minnesota is amazing to me. I’m talking pure, natural talent that is on stage at our local high schools. I have been blown away by the productions I have seen so far. If you aren’t catching this talent on stage, you are truly missing out. This time we head to Apollo High School for their production of 'Thoroughly Modern Millie'.
Over the last few weeks we’ve bounced around to the area high schools to capture their fall productions on stage. This time we’ve taken the cameras to SCSU to give you a sneak peek of their latest production The King Stag.
Cathedral High School is not the place you would think a murder would happen, but someone will be killed this weekend as The Butler Did It hits the stage.
A short drive to Sartell will give you the chance to see the Thornton Wilder classic Our Town being performed by an incredibly talented group of students at Sartell High School.
Sometimes the best things can be found in the most unexpected places. Take a middle school play. You would think that it would be a painful experience to go and watch, but you would be totally wrong. I saw a production today and was blown away!
