Taylor Swift Joins Jimmy Fallon for ‘Ew!’

Taylor Swift mussed her hair, wore glasses the size of beach balls and talked through so much metal, she surely wouldn’t be allowed through airport security. Then she took a light jab at Miley Cyrus, herself and Shake n’ Bake chicken during her appearance on ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night (August 13).

Swift joined Fallon for his popular ‘Ew!’ segment. The two dressed as woefully nerdy teenage girls and talked about girl stuff. The country-pop star played Natalie Benson, a 13-year-old with a Band Aid collection and a fondness for pegicorns (watch, you’ll get it).

Earlier this week, Swift teased her appearance, posting video of herself to YouTube. She joins a list of famous actors who’ve sat beside Fallon’s Sara for ‘Ew!’ Zac Efron and Lindsay Lohan are two others who’ve played along as Fallon tries to crack them up. He almost succeeds with Swift, but she holds her nerdy composure throughout the nearly-five-minute skit.

Swift also had a little couch time on the show, going into detail about her character and confirming that she’d be performing at the 2014 MTV VMAs, which air Aug. 24 at 9PM ET.

On Aug. 18, Swift will talk to fans via a live stream on Yahoo.
