When Taylor Swift accepts a challenge, she makes a splash. Swift took the icy ALS Ice Bucket Challenge plunge on Saturday (Aug. 16), supporting the cause on Instagram with not one, but three different videos -- and with maybe the largest crowd to all take the challenge at one time!

Sporting a black tank and her signature red lips, Swift took the challenge to strike out ALS (or Lou Gehrig's Disease, as it's also known) alongside her good friend Jaime King ... and at least a dozen other people behind them. And not only did the 'Red' singer pull in one of the largest crowds for a group chill out, she also donated $100 to ALS research for each person watching her dive in!

"Oh dear God, we're gonna do this!" the singer exclaimed just before the entire crew dumped buckets of icy water on themselves, leading to lots of screaming.

Swift was nominated by model Lily Aldridge and singer Ingrid Michaelson and sent out her own nominations to Selena Gomez, Emma Stone and Ed Sheeran to take the challenge themselves. According to official Ice Bucket Challenge rules, those nominated have 24 hours to accept the challenge. Gomez posted her ice bucket bath on Instagram on the very same day Swift called her out!

Swift has been buzzing around social media a lot lately, as rumors of new music swirl around the internet like a tornado. Monday night (Aug. 18), she's partnering up with Yahoo for an exclusive, live streaming Q&A session -- hopefully cluing in hopeful fans as to what's up next.
