Rising Texas country artist Adam Fears will perform a free show at Rollie's Rednecks & Longnecks in Sauk Rapids tonight at 8 PM. Fears’ second single, “There’s A Girl Out There,” is currently climbing the Texas music charts, following his Top 20 debut, “Middle of Nowhere.”

The collaboration of a lifetime occurred in 2010, with one of Fears’ primary influences: the late George Jones. Fears co-wrote the song, “The Gospel According to Jones,” recorded by Eric Lee Beddingfield. Through a chance encounter at a Nashville restaurant, George heard the tribute, loved it, and asked if he could be involved. His appearance on the final verse of the song and cameo in the music video, would be his last.

“Feel the fear, Toby Keith and Eric Church, as newcomer Adam Fears Springs from the oil fields of west Texas like a younger, fitter, punchier cross between the two of you...for those who prefer soaring electric guitars to wailing pedal steel, Fears’ vocals and production are cut from the finest leather.” - Country Music People, March 2014.
