I love football, I love watching football, I loved playing football, but this seems a little too intense for eight and nine year old kids. I think at that young of an age, they should be learning the fundamentals of football while still letting them be competitive players. Some of the coaches in the clip below say things that I never heard as a 16 or 17-year-old playing in school.

Competitiveness will come out, sportsmanship is taught at that young of an age, but so is poor sportsmanship... one thing for sure, these young kids are being taught to play hard and never give up. Maybe this is where some of the "cocky" mocking and taunting is taught that we see in the "professional" athletes in football.

Can't complain too much I guess, Adrian Peterson is from Texas.
