The Band Perry have yet to reveal the title of their sophomore project, but the highly-anticipated album -- which features the band's current Top 10 single, 'Better Dig Two' -- has been given an April 2 release date.

The Grammy-nominated band took a different creative approach with their second offering, enlisting rock legend Rick Rubin as producer for the collection. Famed Nashville-based producer Dann Huff also has producer credits on the album, including the project's dark and dynamic lead single.

'Better Dig Two' is well on its way to becoming the trio's second platinum single, selling more 650,000 digital downloads in just over two months. The Band Perry earned their first platinum single with 'If I Die Young,' which has sold more than four million downloads to date. Their 2010 self-titled debut album has also been certified platinum.

Fans hoping to stay connected to the sibling trio leading up to the album release can log on to the band's newly-launched fan website, the Fans Perry. The totally interactive website promises to be the premier source for all things 'Perry.'
