These Little Guys Were Playing Outside Across The Parking Lot

I'm not sure why I've been seeing so many mallards around lately but I think they are so beautiful.

These two were hanging out just across from the building, right near a big puddle of water. I've seen a few out by my house and a couple in a residential neighborhood in the Twin Cities.  In reality it may not actually be that many but it sure seems like it.

I'm not sure if it has to do with some sort of yearly ritual they go through as a species or if it's just because the weather is getting so nice.  Personally, I like seeing them because it reminds me that we are headed for summer, even on gloomy days like this.
