The Twins lost 4-2 to the Detroit Tigers Tuesday night.  Detroit scored all 4 of their runs in the 4th inning off Twins starter and loser Scott Diamond.  The Tigers scored all their runs on homeruns.  Omar Infante and Victor Martinez each hit solo homeruns and Austin Jackson knocked out a 2-run homerun.  Scott Diamond allowed 9 hits and 4 earned runs in 6 1/3 innings to take the loss for Minnesota.

Ryan Doumit had 2 hits including a solo homerun for the Twins and Chris Parmelee was 3-4 with 1 RBI for the Twins.  Minnesota is 66-91 and will host Detroit again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Righthander Kevin Correia (9-12) gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Max Scherzer (20-3) toes the rubber for the Tigers.
