Dogs Looking For Some Good Homes

doug groff tri country humane society

Kaiser came to the shelter because his previous owner was moving and could not have pets in their new residence.  He was adopted and returned a few days later due to being just too active for his new owner.  He has lived with another dog in his past and has gotten along well but he tends to be the dominate dog so a “meet and greet” is required if you have a resident dog.  Kaiser loves his tennis balls and enjoys the outdoors ~~Has not had the opportunity to make any feline friends yet so a slow and proper introduction to a home with a resident cat would be best .  Kaiser lived with children of all ages in his previous home and was very friendly with all of them.  Has been an outdoor dog his entire life and is not housetrained but is already used to going to the bathroom outdoors so he should have a head start on his housetraining.  He has been very good at keeping his kennel clean here at the shelter.  Kaiser would love to go to a home with a fenced in yard and where he can be an indoor dog.

Page came in due to the fact that she didn’t get along with her other K-9 friend.  Page is super smart and loves to play with all kinds of toys ~~She would love to go to a warm and cozy indoor home ~~She is housetrained but may have an occasional accident ~~She does need to go to a home with no other dogs ~~She was good with kids in her previous home but doesn’t like if they are too rambunctious ~~We are advising that she go to a home with kids ten and up due to this ~~Page has some sight issues which is also why we chose the no kids under ten ~~Page has been to the groomer and likes the feeling of having her hair trimmed ~~Page would like a yard that is fenced in so she can run to chase her toys, and they wont get away from her ~~Donations and adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgeries, micro-chipping, vaccinating, de-worming, any medical procedures and general care.
