The Twins used the longball to beat the Brewers 6-4 Tuesday night at Miller Park in Milwaukee. Josh Willingham and Brian Dozier each hit home runs in the win.

Willingham’s third inning, three-run home run gave the Twins a 4-1 lead, and Brian Dozier hit a two-run shot in the fifth to make it a 6-2 game.

Twins starter Sam Deduno went five innings and allowed two runs on six hits to earn the win. Glen Perkins gave up a run in the ninth but earned his 15th save in the game.

Minnesota hosts the Brewers Wednesday night at Target Field. Marco Estrada will pitch for Milwaukee against the Twins’ Ricky Nolasco.
