The Minnesota Twins snapped a ten-game losing streak with a 3-2 win over Detroit at Comerica Park on Saturday afternoon. Joe Mauer led the way for Minnesota by going 3-4 with a home run.

Starter PJ Walters pitched well for Minnesota in his 2013 debut, allowing two runs on eight hits and one walk in six innings of work. The Twins bullpen blanked the Tigers for three innings, with closer Glen Perkins picking up the save.

The Twins look to earn a split with Detroit Sunday afternoon before heading to Milwaukee for two games at Miller Park Monday and Tuesday.
