U.S. Men Open World Cup Today Against Ghana

Today is day five at the World Cup soccer tournament in Brazil, but it will be day one for the American men as they will see their first action this afternoon against Ghana (5:00 PM CT, ESPN).

Group G consists of Team USA, Ghana, Portugal, and Germany. Many feel that today's matchup against Ghana will be USA's best chance to accumulate the precious points needed to advance into the next round, but Ghana's no pushover. Germany is a perennial powerhouse, and Portugal very strong. Germany and Portugal are playing each other today.
