The Vancouver Canucks scored two goals in the second and third periods to cruise to a 5-2 win over the Wild Wednesday night at Xcel Energy Center.  The Wild outshot the Canucks 31-19 in the game.

Charlie Coyle scored his tenth goal of the season to tie the game at one for the Wild at the first intermission. The Wild out-shot Vancouver 9-6 in the first period.

Vancouver took a 3-1 lead into the second intermission with a pair of goals despite being out-shot 15-6 in the period.

The Canucks would score twice more before the Wild finally answered the barrage with a Nino Neiderreiter goal at 12:25.

Darcy Kuemper got the start in net for the Wild but was pulled after allowing three goals on 12 shots.

The Wild are 37-25-11 and are at St. Louis Thursday night.
