The Metrodome is officially closed for business following this afternoon's win by the Minnesota Vikings (5-10-1) over the Detroit Lions (7-9) 14-13. The Dome is scheduled for demolition to allow for the construction of the new Vikings stadium on the same site. The Vikes will play at the TCF Bank Stadium on the U of M campus the next two seasons.

The win closes out one of the most painful seasons in Vikings history. Many off-season changes are expected, the most pressing is whether head coach Leslie Frazier will be retained or fired.

The Vikings finished last in the NFC North.
