The Minnesota Vikings fell to 1-7 this afternoon after giving up a touchdown to the Cowboys (5-4) with just 35-seconds left in the game, giving Dallas the 27-23 win. Christian Ponder was 25 for 37 with one interception, and a touchdown throw to Rudolph. Ponder, who also rushed for a TD, is 0-5 as a starter this season.

Adrian Peterson carried the ball 25 times for 140 yards and one touchdown, his 20th game rushing for 100-yards or more in his career.

Blair Walsh missed just the third extra point in the entire NFL this season, following a tough 11-yard rushing touchdown by Adrian Peterson in the fourth quarter.

The Vikings host the Washington Redskins this Thursday night (11/7).
