Vikings in Cincinnati To Face Bengals Today

Getty Images

Matt Cassel will get the start at quarterback today when the Minnesota Vikings (4-9-1) take the field in Ohio to face the Cincinnati Bengals (9-5). While the Vikes are at the bottom of the NFC North, the Bengals sit on top of the AFC North. Adrian Peterson is listed as ‘questionable’ of the game, but he expects to play.

The Vikings sit in the 8th draft position with two games to go. Two losses to end the season would likely improve that status, as well as end Leslie Frazier’s reign as Minnesota head coach; something that many feel is inevitable win or lose.

Kickoff is set for Noon on FOX 9.
