This is our garden. Thai chile peppers. It was the only thing we grew this year. But hopefully by next year we'll add tomatoes. Baby steps.

You wouldn't know I grew up on a farm. I'm not very good with plants. I had a garden once, when I lived in Colorado. My folks stopped to visit on their way back home to Minnesota (from Arizona) in the spring, so my dad had to show me how to plant the garden. Then he called weekly to make sure I was doing it right. I'm guessing it wasn't quite right, but I remember getting a few veggies out at some point.

So, since there isn't room for a real garden where we live, I thought a planter of something would be a good way to start. A trip to the farmers market ended in the decision to plant Thai chile peppers. And they grew. How about that.
