We've all been there. Our kids ask us to help with their homework and it is so advanced that we don't understand it. But some of the basic things obviously aren't being taught in school.

My worst subject in school was Algebra. I really don't care what the value of X is and why it should be more than Y. It didn't make sense then and it still doesn't. But when I was in high school learning all about the value of Z, I could still give you the name of the Vice President and the capitols of all the states.

Check out this video from a high school that goes around campus and asks their students various questions. These are questions that every person in the United States SHOULD know and these kids have no clue.

It makes me wonder... Have we become so focused on teaching our kids the advanced subjects that we have forgotten to teach them who the President is?
