Summer is great as an adult but there were a lot more perks when I was a kid.

I'm talking about having summers off, three whole months to do whatever you want. That's the first thing that jumps into most people's minds when they're asked this question but that isn't what I miss most.

When I was a kid I would go to my Grandma's house and spend days, a week there.  I never wanted to go home.  What's better than staying with Grandma?  We'd play Old Maid, do a Bert (Bert and Ernie) puzzle, go to the dollar store, the pool and all kinds of other fun things.

I looked forward to that every single summer and I will be honest, I'd go stay with her now if she were still here.

What do you miss most about your childhood summers?
