It's always been my philosophy that when you break up with someone, whether they dumped you or vice versa, there isn't really any point in sitting around dwelling on it.

There are all kinds of studies out there that have the solution to getting over a relationship.  The latest I've seen is changing your ringtone will help you get over it faster.  That might be true, but I think there are more effective ways to move past it.

No, listening to Taylor Swift tunes isn't my solution.  I think you need to spend time around people that build you up -- your friends or family -- and enjoy it because you're free!

I also think it's good to get out there and not only do things you like, but try new things.  I had a friend who started taking a cooking class and she met some great new people there.
