There are few places in the country better than Central Minnesota when it comes to viewing beautiful autumn colors. Yellow cottonwoods, bright red & orange maples, golden aspen, and forest green pines. There's nothing like it. We all have our favorite spots. Where do you recommend taking in the fall colors?

We've got some great places right here in our backyard. For me, it's tough to beat a walk on a beautiful fall day through the Stearns County Quarry Park and Nature Preserve. It's great any time of year with it's miles of wooded trails, but in the fall it's breathtaking.

According to the latest info from the DNR, the leaves are about 50%-75% of peak color here in Central Minnesota. You can see their statewide map HERE.

There's my contribution. Now it's your turn. Where do you love to view the amazing Minnesota autumn colors? Give us a call this morning at 320-252-9897, or add a comment to the 98 Country Facebook page.

Have a great day!
