The Minnesota Wild fell 4-1 to the Boston Bruins Monday night. The Wild outshot Boston 34-29 in the loss.

After a scoreless first period, the Bruins jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a goal by Wild killer Jerome Iginla and  another by Loui Eriksson.  Jason Pominville scored for Minnesota on a close range, broken stick slap shot.

Minnesota was able to fire 16 shots at Bruins netminder Tukka Rask in the third period, but could not solve the Finnish goalie.

The Wild are 35-23-10 overall and are in Long Island Tuesday night to take on the Islanders
