Will Carrie Underwood be Named the New Face of Sunday Night Football?

Faith Hill announced earlier this year that she was parting ways with Monday Night Football.  Her departure left many to speculate who would take her place.  Initially, Carrie Underwood's name came up, but nothing has come up for the last month.

Last night the gossip was stirred up once again when Carrie tweeted, "Just so you know, we have some great news that we'll be sharing tomorrow! I'm really excited about it! Stay tuned..."

The rumor is she will be confirmed as Faith Hill's replacement -- and it's an excellent choice.  Carrie will have much of the same appeal to viewers as Faith did and she loves football.  The NFL is set to make an announcement later this afternoon.  We'll keep you posted...
