The Huskies didn't get the puck to bounce their way in a WCHA Final Five semifinal at Xcel Energy Center on Friday afternoon.

The #1-seeded SCSU Huskies were upset by Wisconsin 4-1 Friday afternoon in St. Paul. St. Cloud State is now at the mercy of the NCAA selection committee for an NCAA Tournament bid with a record of 23-15-1.

Wisconsin started the scoring when Joseph LeBate beat Huskies netminder Ryan Faragher on the far post for a soft goal, assisted by Brendan Woods and Jake McCabe at 10:46 of the first period.

Ben Hanowski tied things up for SCSU with a power play goal through Wisconsin goaltender Joel Rumple's five-hole at 14:29 of the first. Assists on the senior's sixteenth goal were credited to Nic Dowd and Nick Jensen.

Wisconsin's goal at 2:08 of the second period was the eventual game-winner. John Ramage notched his eighth of the year on a nice feed from Nic Kerdiles, who fed the puck to Ramage in the high slot.

The Badgers would add a power play goal at 10:29 of the third period after Tim Daly was given a game misconduct and a five minute penalty for checking from behind. This time it was Kerdiles scoring, his ninth of the year.

The Badgers' Tyler Barnes netted an empty net goal late in the third to seal the win.
