The Minnesota Timberwolves reached the .500 mark again on Monday night with a 95-86 win over the Chicago Bulls at the United Center.  The Wolves gained a half game in the playoff race with the win and are now three games behind 8th place Dallas.

Kevin Love led the Wolves with 31 points including 14-14 from the free throw line while pulling down eight rebounds.  Corey Brewer had 11 points for Minnesota while adding three steals and Ronny Turiaf had 14 points off the bench on 6-7 shooting.

Wolves center Nikola Pekovic left the game in the first quarter with a sore Achilles.

Carlos Boozer led Chicago with 20 points and 14 rebounds in the losing effort.

The Wolves host the New Orleans Pelicans Wednesday night at Target Center.
